Just wanted to say you really are a master. And the Louis Comfort Tiffany of dichroic glass. Your designs, your use of color, are spectacular. And I saw on your facebook page you’re from Asheville, NC, a city that my late husband and I just loved back in the day of rock climbing and traveling. (Yes, we had to visit Kernersville when we discovered it) We walked through the Grove Park Inn and I was in love, unfortunately I lost my roll of film from that trip. I hope to go back some day. Anyway, it’s a beautiful area. Of course, all my praise is nothing you haven’t heard before, but wanted to say it anyhow. I got interested in stained glass a good twenty years ago, but never took the time to really get started in it
because I always let life (housework, yardwork etc) get in the way of my time. Now I’m soon to turn 55 and have bad arthritis and now I have the drive to get serious about my craft. I just hope I’m not too late. I am going to use your websites and your you tube videos to keep me motivated, and just want to thank you for sharing your talent and knowledge.

I tried sending this to your email but got no response so I’m guessing I used the wrong email address:

I chatted with you briefly a few minutes ago. I saw the attached image on flickr. It is identified as “full door abstract 1e”. I mentioned to you that I am shopping for stained glass to fill a 6′ X 5′ window over a bathtub. I am considering various options including a full size insert or (one or more) framed glass such as in this picture. For now, I would appreciate knowing the dimensions of the glass in the picture and its cost. You may also want to let me know what it would cost for a full glass insert that incorporates a design similar to that in the picture. It was nice talking to you this morning.

Hello Steve, I noticed in one of your YouTube videos that you are using Aim solder. I too use Aim solder with much success. I wanted to let you know that I purchased mine from the Michigan outlet at a great cost savings. My last order, about a month ago, I ordered fifteen rolls of solder at a cost of 10.48 per roll. Shipping was 9.00 to Sparta, Tn.. I know that you use a lot of solder and thought that this may be of help to you. I really enjoy watching your YouTube videos and have got a lot of helpful hints. Steve, I am also interested in learning more about making dichroic bevels. I have been in stained glass now 2 years and am having a blast with it. I am still learning new ideas and techniques each and every time I pick up my tools and work. I have seen a number of your videos on youtube and just think that they are awesome.

Dear Steve, I have recently found your work on You Tube. Yesterday in fact. I am sorry that I do not have the necessary skills to reach you. Please, respond to me by an email. I am 70 years old and I had a stroke twelve years ago. With the stroke, I have paralysis on the right side. I have a nice shop with machines that have been modified to funtion with one hand.

Your “Fusing Jewelry Dichroic Glass fdg10b Float Dichroic Glass – Dichroic Glass Man” was the first mention of float dichroic glass I have seen. I have spent the last three years making more than five hundred dichroic pendants for the ladies I work with. All of the work has been free except some work that I have donated to a silent auction that is held by the Hospital For Children where I work selling Pop Corn. The money is donated to the hospital.

Your color blindness is interesting to me. You have done well in handling it. Your Synesthesia is great. Your color selection is wonderful.

I want to buy some of your scrap float dichroic glass. I will buy three ounces of it now. I do not believe I can use any more than that. The color of the glass should be clear.

Hi, I saw your “you tube videos”,and was amazed by your unique and beautiful dichroic glass. When i go to craft fairs i usually buy dichroic pendants or fused glass
pendants with frit designs or liquad stringer designs. I want to purchase a small glass kiln, I draw and would like to create images in fused glass ie. like mermaids or sea creatures etc. Need tutorials and or recomendations on microwave kilns,or small kilns
and supplies,etc. I would like to be able to sell at craft fairs locally ,but this is more
of a new hobby as i work full time. Thank you ,look forward to hearing from you.
